1. What is Managed SMS and how is it different from conventional SMS? The differences are that Managed SMS is a web-based application that allows the user to easily send SMS via the web and it can send out thousands of SMS with a click of a button.

Conventional SMS using SIM card and Modem connected to PC only permits 1 SMS to be sent out each time and requries the PC to be always running throughout the SMS sending.

2. What do I need to purchase?
There is no infrastructure or equipment required - zero investment.

3. What kind of connectivity is required?
The users only need an internet connection and reach us through SKYROAM's web portal.
Security
1. How does SKYROAM ensure that my contacts and information is secured and confidential?
SKYROAM SMS Platofrm comes with market first contact encryption and in addition, our data center is securely hosted at world class data center leader - Equinix.
To prevent unauthorized use, customers are encouraged to change their password frequently. They are also encouraged to export their campaigns and address book periodically for backup purposes.
Managing contacts
1. Is my contacts secured after i upload to the system?
You can encrypt your phonebook anytime, a unique feature of our system.

2. How many contacts can I save in the address book provided?
Unlimited.

3. Can I send SMS to a targeted audience?
Yes, a grouping function is provided for users to target a specific audience. Furthermore, you can share your contacts securely with your working group.
Broadcast and Interactive
1. Do I need to key in all the mobile numbers every time I send out SMS using Managed SMS?
No, this is not necessary. The user can save all the contacts in the address book provided.

2. Is there a automatic saving function so that any new numbers will be saved into my phonebook?
Yes. This is also our unique feature.

3. Can a recipient of the SMS choose to opt out of future campaigns?
Yes, users can choose to enable an 'opt out' option when creating campaigns.
Speed and Capacity
1. How many messages can I send at any one time?
Sending SMS by SIM card is estimated to take 1 SMS in every 6 seconds.
Your receipient may receive it over midnight if you have quite a lot to send.

With our platform, you can send estimated 100 SMS in 1 second or more,
it is like having 600 SIM cards working together without waiting and staring at the screen, versus 1 SIM card you
have with your modem connected to a PC and keep it on for hours until all SMS are sent.

Furthermore, we can easily add capacity by increasing our software channels
anytime. Our unique tracking system also enables re-sending a breeze, giving you a smooth broadcasting expereince.
Sending and Receiving of Messages
1. Can I set the message to be sent at a later date?
Yes, a scheduler is provided for users to pre-set the timing when their message is to be sent. This is one of the many unique features of Managed SMS.

2. What is the maximum length of the characters that I can key in?
The maximum message length is 459 characters (250 characters for Chinese). If a message is more than 160 characters, it will send as a concatenated message, ie recipients will see this as 1 message on the mobile phone.

3. Does the maximum length of characters include the sender ID?
Yes, the maximum length of 500 characters includes the sender ID, but this does not include greeting and default phrase. Each greeting and default phrase has a limit of 40 characters.

4. Can I use Managed SMS to send SMS messages to recipients who are non-SKYROAM subscribers?
Yes, Managed SMS allows messages to be sent to other Singapore registered mobile numbers and also to overseas registered mobile numbers.

5. What will be the number displayed on the recipients' mobile phones?
The number will be a 5 digit short code or 8 digit mobile numbers. You can add your mobile number so that receipients can reply directly to your mobile number. You can also use alphanumeric Sender ID such as your company name.

6. Can I have my company's name displayed on the recipients' mobile phones?
Yes. You can apply for Alphanumeric Sender ID as your company name, limited to standard 11 characters.

7. Can I be anonymous and not display any sender ID?
No. We do not allow spamming and unidentified sender to prevent illegal usage.
Sending of Global SMS
1. Can I send to overseas customers?
Yes, we are connected to more than 800 mobile networks globally.

2. Are the overseas SMS sent part of the bundled usage?
While some Providers may charge each global SMS at $0.25, you enjoy similar low rates sending globally.
